THE NEW ERA SCHOLARSHIP PROJECT

Established by Yvette and Larry Gralla, who graduated from CCNY in 1953 and 1951 respectively, the New Era Scholarship Project is supported by numerous donors and provides up to $6,000 a year over four years to the brightest students from the most successful public high schools across New York City. To qualify students must have a minimum combined SAT Score of 1200 or the equivalent ACT and an 85 high school average. During their time at City College, recipients of the New Era Scholarship must maintain full-time enrollment and a minimum 3.0 G.P.A. Students are chosen from the following 11 high-performing public high schools across New York City:

• Edward R. Murrow High School
• Forest Hills High School
• Fort Hamilton High School
• Francis Lewis High School
• Hunter High School
• LaGuardia Music/Art High School
• Midwood High School
• Townsend Harris High School
